Leyton Arts Festival

A free community celebration of live music, workshops, performances, art exhibitions, film, and more. Taking place across Leyton.

In 2025 the Leyton Midland Collective organised the first ever Leyton Arts Festival, a free two-day celebration of local creativity, talent and community spirit. Situated in cafes, bars and outdoors spaces around Leyton Midland Station, the festival was focused at the crossroads of Leyton High Road and the arches of Tilbury Road and Midland Road.

Totally free, the event was attended by over 3000 people, and involved 22 venues and 60 artists including musicians, performers, creative workshops and exhibitions.

2026 sees the return of the Leyton Arts Festival, on a bigger scale! The reach of the programme will be expanded to include other venues across Leyton, developing the network to include other relevant arts and culture institutions in the area, and establishing a corridor of venues to connect the programme from our initial zone around Leyton Midland Station, extending up and down Leyton High Road.

Supported by Mayor Of London and London Borough of Waltham Forest, part funded by HM Government

“Well done to everyone involved in organising and running this, we loved it and felt proud to live in Leyton!”
